In this video, I'm going to help you become a successful 3d printer user by providing you with six hints that will save you hours.
3d printing is not science. No one can give you a precise formula that will work with every printer every time. The reason for that is that every time you print, you need to define a set of slicer settings that vary printer to printer. The temperature of the hot end on multiple printers for the same manufacturer may be slightly different. Extruder calibration, print bed characteristics, and filament brands are all different.
The art of 3d printing requires the user to balance these parameters based on their experience and knowledge. That's why I find it so exciting since every 3d print is a brand new challenge.
The hints in this video cover 3d printer components, bed leveling, bed adhesive, slicers, configuring slicers, and filament selection.
All of the hints apply to any FDM 3d printers including, for example, the Creality Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro and Ender 5, the Monoprice Select Mini and the Prusa i3 MK3 and MK3s.
