3d printing is unique in its ability to print seemingly impossible objects. Objects that when viewed, look like they were created as separate pieces and then glued together. These capabilities will revolutionize the world of manufacturing while providing each of us the ability to create previously professionally manufactured object at home our in our office.
In this video, I'll talk about the objects you could only produce with a 3d printer thanks to the layer by layer process - called additive manufacturing.
I'll show some of my favorite seemingly impossible prints and go into Tinkercad where I'll show you how to design a seemingly impossible 3d printed object.
When I finish designing my print, I'll load it into the slicer Cura. And you'll see a print simulation that will show that the impossible print is possible.
All of the examples in this video are printable on any standard FDM printer. This includes printers such as the Creality Ender 3 or Ender 5, the Monoprice Mini Select or the Prusa i3 Mk3 or Mk3s.
Let's continue to learn together!
