I wanted to find out if someone who does not consider themselves very "handy" and is concerned that assembling a 3d printer from a kit is too much work would be satisfied with a fully assembled, fully calibrated, ready to go, 3d printer for under $200.
A 3d printer produces parts a layer at a time. FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers work by heating a filament, often a type of plastic, to the point where it is soft enough for extrusion through a nozzle.
